Cydar has received a Certificate of Registration to ISO 13485:2003 and EN ISO 13485:2012. Cydar operates a Quality Management System that complies with set requirements for the design, development and provision of web-based image processing software applications, for X-ray guided clinical procedures.
We would like to thank Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, Royal Free Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital for their hard work through the trial of the Cydar RTRS 1.0. The trial has now closed and we look forward to launching the 3D overlay software following CE mark next month.
The NIHR’s Horizon Scanning Unit has issued the following technology update on Cydar’s imaging overall system for endovascular surgery.
Cydar commences a six month multi-site clinical trial of its automated 3D overlays in X-ray guided procedures; Guys’ and St Thomas’ NHS Trust is the first trial site. The trial is a National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) portfolio study.
Cydar announces today that its latest funding round was oversubscribed. The fund raise was supported by a number of investors including Cambridge Capital Group.
Cydar has secured a £250,000 grant under Innovate UK’s (previously Technology Strategy Board) ‘SMART’ scheme. The grant will part-fund a one year project to develop a prototype for cloud-based high performance computing for real-time 3D overlays.
Tom Carrell, CEO of Cydar, said: “The SMART grant provides significant external validation of our technology and plans. The project supported by this funding will develop the current proof-of-concept technology into a cloud high performance computing prototype. It will allow us to boost performance and to test the user experience in hospitals.”
