Our Beginnings

In 2012, Cydar Medical was founded by Vascular Surgeon Tom Carrell and Imaging Scientist Graeme Penny who were frustrated by the difficulty surgeons had visualizing ‘image guided’ procedures and the resulting inconsistency of patient care. Since then, our team has been dedicated to building a suite of products and services that make treating patients simpler, smarter and faster for the clinicians and the hospital.
